Welcome to the Philadelphia Parking
Authority's On-line Auction! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will now be
holding on-line auctions until further notice in order to comply with the
city's recent regulations to ensure the safety of citizens and PPA staff.
Please take time to read our new procedures and rules below.
AUCTIONS WILL BE HELD EVERY TUESDAY & EVERY THURSDAY.

here and on their site to get registered and place bids.
PROCEDURE - REGISTRATION
Registration for the on-line auction can be found by
clicking THE SIGN-IN/REGISTER BUTTON
can register for the auction at ANYTIME. We recommend your registration be
completed at least one half hour prior to the Auction.

PROCEDURE - BIDDING
BIDDING FOR VEHICLES WILL BEGIN CLOSING BETWEEN 10:00AM
to 12:00PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. EACH VEHICLE WILL HAVE A SPECIFIED
you place a bid and are immediately outbid, this indicates another bidder has
placed a proxy bid.
a bid is placed during the last minute of the auction, four minutes will be
added to the auction end time to prevent “bid snipping”.

(full vehicle purchase price, sales tax and title fee, processing fee, and
court fee) must be completed at the time of your appointment by credit card
ONLY. No cash will be accepted.

bidder must pay $25.00 processing fee at the time of sale for each vehicle
bidder must pay $6.50 for court filing fee at the time of sale for each vehicle
bidders must pay $55.00 title fee at the time of sale for each vehicle
purchased and must complete an application for title which will be processed by
the PPA then sent to Harrisburg.

this occurs, the vehicle will not be released from our lot and will be
re-listed for a future auction.
a valid Pennsylvania dealer identification certificate is presented, payment of
applicable sales tax is required.
Parking Authority makes no representation or warranty concerning the type of
title issued by PennDot.
takes approximately Four to Six weeks
from the date of sale to receive the title from PennDot.

AT THIS AUCTION. IT IS ILLEGAL TO OPERATE OR STORE AN UNINSURED OR UNREGISTERED
VEHICLE ON A PUBLIC ROADWAY IN PENNSYLVANIA.
vehicles must be removed from the auction lot, without the removal of parts,
before 8:00 pm on the date of the auction. Failure to do so will result in the
forfeiture of the purchase price and the vehicle. The vehicle will be deemed an
abandoned vehicle and the purchaser will be subjected to the penalties and
fines prescribed by the governing laws.
vehicles will be released to tow operators only upon presentation of completed tow agreements.
operators must be pre registered with the PPA in order to tow your vehicle.
MUST BE TOWED FROM THE AUCTION SITE TO A RESIDENCE OR PLACE OF BUSINESS.
VEHICLES CANNOT BE STARTED OR DRIVEN FROM THE AUCTION LOT.
Any vehicle listed for auction on-line
be released or withdrawn from the auction at any time by the order of a court
competent jurisdiction or for administrative reasons at the sole discretion of
the Parking Authority. Any vehicle Withdrawn or not sold may be auctioned at a
